During the sign order
process, after the English and the Hebrew text boxes, you will find
a "Special requests" box where you can specify your script type (font) preference.
Tile Care
Our tiles' acrylic lacquer coating renders tile surface completely weatherproof and washable.
A tile can be cleaned with a soft wet cloth or washed with water
and soap. Do not use abrasives, spirit, alcohol or acetone. To
maintain a glossy finish, avoid surface contact with scratching
materials or tools.
In chilling weather areas, tiles should be mounted in a rain protected
spot or varnished in their porous back's surface as they may crack if wet and then chilled.
Door Mounting
Each sign carries two standard holes (nearly invisible)
and is supplied with screws, washers and clear instructions for proper door mounting.
In the Shopping Cart (Special Requests box) you can expressly ask for "no holes" but
remember that holes will be always a valid option for any
future use of your nameplate.
The following instructions and appropriate screws (and washers when needed) are supplied
along with every ceramic sign.
For this operation, use
screws (and washers) supplied in the package.
Certain sign sizes or types do not need washers behind the tile (see instructions in your package).

- Position the tile in place on the door
- Using a pencil, make two marks on the door through the holes of the tile,
then remove it.
- For a wooden door: insert a small screw into the door at each pencil mark,
tap it lightly with a hammer, screw it half way down, then unscrew it.
- For a metal door: drill a small hole into the pencil mark using a 1/8" High
Speed (HS) steel bit.
- Put the tile back in place on the door and screw the screws into the holes,
through the tile and the metal washers (see illustration above).
CAUTION: avoid over tightening the screws, as the tile may break!
Gluing, or using a double stick tape, is not
suggested by Small Signs, as the glue may weaken during the time and the tile fall down at a door-slap. Besides, glue may damage a door surface more than two little clean holes
