\nYou are so wonderful Ugo.\u00a0 I am very excited to know that you are in Israel.\u00a0 This is a very special occasion.\u00a0 XY. is not a son born to us.\u00a0 We have had him since he was three years old\u00a0and we are in the process of converting him to Judaism.\u00a0 He is now 11 years old, will be 12 in late October.\u00a0 We chose his name, X, because of all of the turmoil he endured before he came to us with people coming and going in his life and finally, the peace that he has had since his life has stabilized.\u00a0 Who chose Y for the honest relationship that we have established with this son.\u00a0 He is a very special little boy for whom we have grand hopes and dreams.\u00a0 He will be Bar Mitzvah in 2010 and so we want to be sure that he has the tools that he needs to get him to that point.
\nWe are not rich people, we are of modest means.\u00a0 You ask about our budget – – – definitely champagne taste on a beer budget as the\u00a0saying goes.\u00a0 I would love a kiddush cup that says the traditional “Yeled Tov” and have seen a few on the Internet that are more of a goblet style than the cup that you sent.\u00a0 It doesn’t have to be big.\u00a0 I would be willing to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $125 to $150 although I am not sure that that is reasonable but definitely what we can afford to spend.\u00a0 Please let me know if you think you can find something within the price range that includes something for your eff orts as well as the postage.
