Door & House Metal Name Plaques: The classic models In this category you’ll find several models of metal name plaques designed in classic styles, decorative shapes and elements paired usually with old-design fonts. Size and price: On each page of the models listed above your first choice will be between several sizes. When you select a size, the corresponding price will appear. Don’t worry, when making your proofwe always suggest proportion changes if needed. Color: In all classic models you can choose a natural metal finish or pick up a color paint, both for the plaque itself and the background layer (when added). Mounting with glue: On a flat, clean and dry surface Wall, door, gate, fence: the plaque can be mounted using any strong silicone glue, like the “Super 7” available in Israel. Place a generous amount of glue in a central area on the back of the plaque and press it gently until you feel that the glue is spreading. Not too much glue, nor pressing, as the glue could spill over the internal or external edges of the plaque. Then leave it without touching until hardened. On a flat stone wall Clean and dry: act as explained above. On a bumpy stone wall Due to the height gaps to fill, it is recommended to prepare a plain background surface using white cement + sand or any other acrylic plaster. Then glue as on a flat surface (see above). Double-sided tape This option is valid on every flat and non-crumbling surface such as a door or wall, in a covered place. Addition of the best quality double sided adhesive (Scotch 3M) is an option when ordering your plaque. Mounting with screws: On any wall type All plaques can be ordered with holes and fitting screws for mounting with wall plugs. Screws are provided in the same color as the plaque. You can also add mirror screws. On a metal or wooden door As above, with Tin screws (included) Mounting the sign with a spacer behind If you want to mount a sign which will slightly “pop up” from the wall or the door with a little shadow around, getting a “three-dimensional” feel, when ordering you can choose to add spacers.
